Our Treatment Philosophy

The Purpose of Mental health treatment is:

  • To allow individuals to gain control and master over their own lives
  • To help individuals, couples, or gamilies to discover their strengths and their courage to better manage life's challenges

This goal will more likely be accomplished if there is:

  • A careful evaluation of the persons seeking help and of their presenting problems
  • An assignment to a therapist with whom a working relationship can most likely be established
  • A flexible treatment plan with initial goals which meet the special needs of the patient and the problem
  • With the patient's approval, input from spouses or family members as appropriate in the course of the treatment
  • Follow up of the patient's stats and response to to the treatment effort
